It's a very, very; MadWorld

News has hit magical Internet land that MadWorld will be released in the UK unedited. Rumours imply that this would make the game the most violent Wii game to date, contending with Manhunt 2 and No More Heroes.

However, it has been suggested that this was an intentional move from Platinum Games, who made the game so that it would receive the Mature rating in the US without the need to make any cuts. Obviously this would leave us with a happy BBFC, who apart from causing Manhunt 2 to be majorly delayed by banning both versions of the game, are traditionally quite lenient on their censorship when compared to our American cousins.

I think this game being released on the Wii will give back Nintendo so many of its hardcore fans, who may have jumped ship since the company started focusing on releasing casual games that your gran can enjoy. Lets be honest, the console could do with a few more "proper" games. Lets hope no controversy from the mainstream press changes this positive turn of events.
